Conditions of Hire / Entry

It is paramount that MCIS is a safe environment for all stakeholders which extends to our neighbours and our wider community.

Considerate parking on MCIS property shall be demonstrated at all times. Access for emergency vehicles shall be possible at all times and at no time shall our neighbours access be obstructed in any way. MCIS is not responsible to the hirer for damage, loss, theft or removal of any motor vehicle or bicycle.

MCIS retains the right to permanently evict any person or persons who misuse any aspect of the facilities.

All health & safety concerns including near miss incidents shall be reported to a member of MCIS Management promptly. It is expected that hirers may need to administer minor first aid although MCIS will provide first aid trained staff to assist.

Any person under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol are not permitted to use MCIS facilities. No alcoholic beverages shall be brought onto MCIS premises.

Fully enclosed sports shoes are to be worn on courts at all times. Slip on varieties and spiked shoes are not permitted.

All court entry/exit zips must be fully closed whilst courts are in use including during warms ups and when people are arriving or leaving.

Only the players, coaches, umpires and official representatives of the hirer are allowed into the courts.

Every effort shall be made not to block access or obstruct walkways around the centre.

MCIS recommend any pregnant woman seeks expert guidance before participating in sport.

MCIS has a no smoking policy in all areas of the centre.

All fixtures, fittings and equipment shall be treated with respect. Any damage incurred whilst in use shall be reported to a MCIS member of management immediately so repairs can be undertaken promptly. If damage is not caused from normal wear and tear the hirer shall pay for the cost of repair.

All equipment shall be returned to its correct place.

MCIS reserve the right to request a bond, payable in advance, should it deem necessary

MCIS do not accept responsibility for the storage or security of hirers’ equipment or personal belongings. Anyone using lockers on site do so at their own risk.

The Hirer shall have public liability insurance of at least $20,000,000 per claim, providing cover for all claims and liabilities arising from the hire of MCIS’s facilities or the actions or omissions of their members, employees, against and subcontractors. This insurance shall be maintained throughout the period of hire and a certificate of currency shall be provided to MCIS before hire commences.

No external catering will be brought onto MCIS premises without express written permission from MCIS.

The period of hire and rate of hire will be as described in invoices provided and payment shall be made within 14 days of the invoice date. Any reservation that remains unpaid after 14 days may lapse.

Should a reservation not be required please contact the Centre on 08 8366 2240. All cancellations must be in writing. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given the fee for the booking will stand.

When hiring MCIS facilities adherence to booking times shall be adhered to. Practice times, return of equipment, tidy up and vacating of the premises shall be completed within the booking times.

MCIS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions will be posted on the website immediately.
